“No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any educational program or activity receiving federal financial assistance.” – 20 U.S.C. § 1681 & 34 C.F.R. Part 106 (1972) Title IX
St. George Academy is dedicated to an educational environment that is free from discrimination and any form of harassment, where no student or employee is excluded from participating in its programs based on race, religion, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, disability status, genetic information, or other bases protected by applicable law. Our school recognizes the detrimental effect that harassment or discrimination behavior can have on our community of students, parents and faculty. SGA commits to taking immediate and effective action in response to conduct that exhibits a bullying, harassing or discriminatory nature.
